About Revitalize Sleep

Welcome! I’m Kate. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. With 15 years of experience in the field of behavior change, I became invested in the field of sleep after the birth of my first child. Valuing good rest for my entire family, I began studying how to support my daughter in achieving independent sleep from an early age.

For her first few months, my daughter struggled with reflux and colic and slept only on mom or dad’s chest. So please believe me when I say I deeply empathize with your exhaustion! While my daughter worked through the reflux, I dove deep into the sleep literature. It was overwhelming at first, but this research coupled with my behavioral skillset gave my husband and I the confidence to coach our daughter to become an independent sleeper. These days, she loves sleep, knows when she needs it, and even reaches for her bed most nights. Not only are we all sleeping well, but I am assured that she is getting the healthy rest she needs to grow into who she is meant to be.

As a behavior analyst, it is my job to view and modify behaviors objectively. My background offers me the ability to view sleep as a series of behaviors that can be learned and shaped with consistency, while also supporting both the child and the parent with patience and care.

Parenting is challenging enough. Add a lack of sleep and it can be frustratingly difficult for you to show up as the type of parent you want to be — and for your child to learn and grow. I fully believe that when baby gets good rest the whole family gets good rest, leaving you ready to take on the world together.
